HIDDEN

you showed me a time:
the world
and left me there

your departure revealed and tethered too:
my senses turned round, and much began to wilt
as if something else was commanding the view

I BEGAN
to follow, unhurriedly at first, with the horrible
FEELING
that when I returned home, at long last, I may not look
FONDLY
on the beautiful vales of that land: wheeling I came
ABOUT
to find a mirror in my wake,
MY
past reflected into the future, hidden
LIFE
you helped to form not long ago.

so bid me well
in search of a time
where view breaks glass
MIRRORED BY RHYME
